Holly is 14 and has been playing tennis since she was five and has trained with the Wiltshire County squad. She is one of Sam’s Tennis Leaders and as part of her Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, helped Joe with coaching primary school age children over a 12 week period.Holly has had success this year, winning her school tennis trophy and won the Road To Wimbledon competition at club and Wiltshire county level gaining the privilege of playing in the National 14u Finals at Wimbledon in August. Here she played some very tough matches in a box with the number 2 seed and the overall finalist of the competition. Playing at Wimbledon was an amazing experience for Holly which she will never forget. Holly has also played several matches this season in the Chippenham and District League Ladies B team with Mum Steph, winning several sets along the way. She also competed in the doubles with Steph in the Marshfield Club Championship, progressing to the Semi Finals. Really well done Holly.
Our only winning Captain this year Steve Fiddes collected the Mixed Division 5 trophy ably supported by Bryony. Undefeated all season Steve is looking for more success next year and hopes to climb further up the divisions.
