As a member you will be provided with two keys, one to access the club house and one to access the tennis courts. If you come down without them and they are locked you will either need to go home and get them or phone a friend to see if they can come down and help!
For any club organised session (club nights, league matches) lights will be provided by a key holder. if you are arranging your own game or a ladder match you will need to use your own tokens for lights.
Floodlight tokens cost £2.50 for half an hour and can be bought in The Catherine Wheel pub or the Central Stores
The club will provide tennis balls for league matches and club nights, but if you have arranged a game yourself you will need to bring your own balls please. the tennis balls on the table on the clubhouse are ex-match balls and meant for club play only.
Absolutely! You do need to sign them in using the guest book on the table by the ice cream freezer and arrange with Di Pressdee the membership secretary to pay the guest fee or leave it in the tin used for the ice cream money. You will shortly also be able to use a QR code to pay direct from your phone
Yes, the freezer is kept stocked during the warmer months and you need to pay for your ice cream using the secure tin. Cash or via QR code once this is set up
After previous security incidents, the Withymead carpark used by the tennis club gets locked every night at 8pm between October and March and at 9:30pm over the summer. To see how you can easily exit the area without climbing the gates, see the plan here
